The free family calendar gives you a permanent share link — but it's a long, random string you can't read over the phone or remember. For families who share their schedule constantly, the custom family page is a low-cost annual upgrade that makes it a page you'd actually want to hand out.
What the upgrade adds
- Your own URL — claim a memorable address like
schedulefc.com/family/the-smiths. Short enough to say out loud. - A games-only view— its own separate link, for the grandparents who only come to games and don't need the practices.
- A private page— turn on an email gate so only addresses you've approved can open it.
Who it's for
Most families do great on the free calendar — it's genuinely free. The custom page is for families who've made the calendar a hub: lots of relatives, lots of sharing, a preference for a clean address and a little more control. If that's you, it's a few dollars a year.
How to get it
- Build or open your calendar at schedulefc.com/family-calendar.
- On the confirmation page, pick your custom URL (it checks availability as you type).
- Claim it — the games-only view and email gate unlock right away.
